“One thing I often highlight to clients is that while it is great to have your house perfectly presented one shouldn’t lose sight of the market itself. There is often a trade-off between condition and launching the property at the most opportune moment. There is no point in having the most marvellously present property on the market at the worst time of year. Just keep this in mind.
I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my own properties but the more perfect you get something I find, the more you discover other little bits that need attention and it can be a bit of a rabbit hole that gives diminishing returns and can lead to missing the market”.
